Garlieston is the ideal place to spend a holiday or weekend break. The harbour village has two shops, (one of which is also a post office). A coffee shop, bowling green, tennis courts and two art galleries. But most importantly a pub offering superb food and excellent hospitality.

You don't have to be a land owner or a business as long as you have an interest in rural activities that you are willing to share with others.

The original Aims and Objectives of the Association sought to promote pigs and pigmeat, to represent breeders nationally, to organise workshops, provide a self-help group to exchange information, and to support pig showing at the Royal Welsh and other shows in the Wales and border counties.
