The Bidgiemire Double Entrance Farrowing Ark
Have you ever had the misfortune to have one of your precious piglets squashed against the side of the ark by its mum? If so, chances are that had the piglet had an escape route, its death could have been avoided.
The Bidgiemire Double Entrance Farrowing ark cannot guarantee to save every piglet, however it lessens the chances of squashed piglets by giving the new born vital inches of breathing space. A galvanised steel tube running around 3 sides of the ark prevents the sow from lying against the side of the ark. The piglet therefore has a safety zone if it finds itself in between its mum and the side of the ark.

Once the bars are no longer required, they can be removed easily, thereby allowing the sow to have use of all the ark again.
